T{ippity} Tuesday Tip.

Happy Tuesday!!

Hi, it's me Angie for a T{ippity} Tuesday Tip.
Hope you are all enjoying this wonderful day.
I am sure most of you love techniques.. but most times I never remember how to do it the next time . Well let's say you are having a Ippity Party , Craft sale or even as a little added thank you in your mail out. I was thinking of these fun Technique Tags.

You have your decorated tag using your Ippity products, and on the back of the tag you have the technique, with all the ingredients and Instructions to make the fabulous tag you are featuring.

I made this one up, Using alot of those wonderful Ippity Inks and some of the stamps from

You Deserve and Bitty Pixie Paisley.

Many Thanks.

Now on the back of the tag I have the technique with all the ingredients to make this tag.

I was thinking this would be great as a giveaway for your clients. Cause we all love learning new things to do with the stamps and you can showcase these at your craft sale or if you are having home parties it might be a great way to have examples of what you will be doing that night and then they get to take these home to remember what they have learned.

Now here is how I got the info on the back of the tag.
I used my word and on the computer wrote all my instructions out. Using the center and about a number 8 size of font. Now print it out on a blank piece of paper.
Making sure it all fits nicely on your tag area.

Place the tag on top of the instructions that you have just printed off. Adhering it with some tape.. easily removable tape.

you should make sure it is centered where you want the words to go.

Now put it back in the printer, remembering to place it upside down , with the tag end to the back of the printer. It will print on the tag in the same spot it printed on your paper. Then just remove. Now you will have your instructions on the back and your technique on the front.

I hope this is a fresh and new idea for adding something a little different. I am sure your clients will love getting these, and the more product used might increase sales.

Hope you give this a try.

Eva's VERY LATE Sunday Faves

Well, it's better late than never!  Yikes...it's already 9:30 PM in my neck of the woods Sunday Evening and I just realized I totally forgot to post today...OMG!  I have to apologize to everyone for being oh so late, but I wanted to share a few of my favorite Ippity projects from this week anywat.  Hope you still check out these gorgeous creations!!!

First let's start out with a gorgeous layout by Angela Fehr.  WOW is all I can say, how she used Ippity stamps to create this amazing layout, but check it out for yourself!

My second pick is an adorable card with a cute spotlight technique made by Kelly and it is just adorable in my opinion!

My third pick is a really beautifully designed card, I just love the circle element on this card and it's made by Julie Smith.  I really love that circle die, the placement of the buttons and the twine, which I just picked up some of myself, too.

My next pick is this amazingly masculine card by Lynn Miller...gosh, I always love her work, so this is no different, but take a look at it, this card speaks for itself!

My last pick is by Mary, and it's sooo cute, I just love the piecing of the houses and the perfect patterned paper and wow, aren't those little trees too cute????

So, that is it....aren't these some serious BEAUTIES????  I just love them.  Hope you had a fabulous weekend and wishing you a lovely week coming up!

fltattering MICHELLE STANCIL!!

Hello! Hello!!!

it's eryn here today and I am SO SO VERY EXCITED to introduce you to
unity/{ippity} ARTIST & paper crafter extraordinaire!!!
HOORAY!!!
i had such a wonderful time getting to know Michelle even more...
i know YOU will too!!

first I HAVE to show you this picture of her ADORABLE BOYS...

{what an AWESOME pic of your boys Michelle, love it!}

about Michelle in her own words...
Tell us a little about yourself.

I am, first and foremost, a christian. After that, I wear many hats. Maid, Repair Woman, Taxi Driver, Boo-Boo Kisser, Wife, Friend, Aunt, and my favorite... Mom. I have 3 handsome boys ages 10 (twins) and 4. They are the sparkles in my life. We live in the backwoods of NC and we love it!

How did you first get involved in stamping?
Through Chelsea Cook. I stumble onto her blog and saw a Christmas card she had made using Prince of Peace and I fell in LOVE! I immediately ordered the stamp. I've been head over heels for Unity and stamping ever since.

What is your stamping style?

I mostly scrapbook and it's almost always boys so my style is definitely rough, messy, distressed, etc.

Tell us about your creative process
Don't laugh, but I heard a lady say there are no mistakes in crafting and I took it to heart. I start throwing things around and soon it starts looking like a card or page. My man says I'm ADD! LOL!!

What is your favorite {ippity} stamp set and why?
They are all great, but that catepillar from A Little Buggy is just awesome!! It has to be my fave!

How often do you stamp?
How long does it take you to make a project you are happy with?
Sometimes 2 days!!

What is your title at Unity/{ippity}?
I'm an artist. Yeah!!

here is just ONE of the kits that Michelle
has had a part in creating for unity/{ippity}
{artists of this kit include: Michelle Stancil, J. Nielson, C. Courtney}

How long have you worked there?
Since Oct. 2009

If you were stranded on a desert island what are the three things you would bring?

My Bible, my boys, and earplugs for when my boys wouldn't hush!! LOL!!

What is your favorite quote?
You can't press a caterpillar into a butterfly mold and make it fly. It has to be transformed from the inside out. Max Lucado

What would I find in your refrigerator right now?
LOTS OF FOOD!!!! Did I mention there are FOUR males in this house. Where do they put it all??!!!!

If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be?
No doubt. I want to be Elastigirl from the Incredibles. Seriously. To be able to sit on the sofa and do the dishes and vaccum at the same time while watching Martha Stewart. Could it be any better?

If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be?
Looking Back She Saw. Life throws so many curve balls that make no sense at the time. I know God will reveal it to me, but I would love to get it now.

What would your dream vacation be?
Isreal. I'd love to walk the sand that Jesus, and the disiples walked!

here is one of Michelle's WONDERFUL {ippity} creations...

ohhhh i just LOVE this...that KEY fits just PERFECTLY with the senitment and gorgeous bow!

THANKS so much for sharing Michelle!!
be sure to check out Michelle's blog...

That's [Not So] Creepy Halloween Card!

Hello to all my fellow Ippity Chicks
and Ippity fans!!

Thank you so much for stopping by to see what I have for today's Fresh Idea Friday creation!

It's Kelly today with a Halloween card to share with you.  Maybe it's the candy, or maybe it's just the fun colors of Halloween, but something makes me love this time of year when I get to start making cards for Halloween.  I am not even sure that it is considered an official card making holiday!  But for me it is!  LOL!!

So today I have a card that I made using our newest Ippity Halloween set called
That's Creepy!!

(And congrats to Rachel B. for guessing that this was the stamp set I used for today's card during our chat time on SCS Hip Hop Chat time yesterday.  She won the Spring Ippity Paper pack!!)  I hope that you are chatting with us each Thursday... there is always a lot of fun to be had while chatting it up with the girls and getting a chance to win cool prizes too!

So here is what I made to share with you today...

So this is my "That's Creepy" card that isn't really that creepy!!  LOL!!  I love everything that Lisa Hetrick created for this set including the sweet little spider hanging from his web!!  I decided to make a cute card instead of the expected haunted or scary type of Halloween card that one would typically expect to see.

I had some fun altering the pumpkin from this set to make it look like a very happy jack-o-lantern.  If you want to see what all I did to create this card, please visit my personal blog to get all the details.  And if you  want some of these great Ippity stamps for yourself, then please click on the locator link below to find an Ippity Chick to purchase your stamps from!

Eryn will be here tomorrow with our next Flatterday Saturday post!

That's How Thursday & Hip Hop Day!!

Hi there ippity peeps!! It's Hip Hop Day and I sure hope you had lots of fun seeing all the fabulous Unity and ippity inspiration on today's Hop!!

For today's "That's How Thursday", I thought I would show you how quick and easy it is to make a  painted/embossed vintage heart that you can add to your card or project!!  Here's my finished card!  I thought this sweet little heart went perfectly with this NEW ippity "Quotes a'la Happy" sentiment (designed by Tanis Giesbrecht)!!

Supplies Used:

. ippity "Quotes a'la Happy" stamp sentiment. Cream Cardstock
. Cuttlebug Die and Embossing Folder - Textile Hearts
. Foam Paint Brush
. Paint - Rosy Posy
. Ranger Distress Ink - Tea Dye
. Ranger Ink Blending Tool

Steps to make a "Painted/Embossed Vintage Heart":

Step 1. Using your die cut machine, cut the heart die cut.
Step 2. Using your heart embossing folder, run through the die cut machine to emboss the heart.
Step 3. Take your foam paint, and with the paint, slightly cover the embossed parts to the heart.  Add paint to the outer edge of the heart too.
Step 4. Take your sponge tool and distress ink and rub all over the heart.

Here's a close-up of the painted/embossed vintage heart that I made.  It's been backed up with Helmar 3D Zap Dots...and, it's been placed right in back of my sweet little ippity sentiment!!

If you happened to have missed the Hop, you can click on the button below and start from the beginning.  It's not too late to enjoy all the fun!!  Enjoy the rest of your day!!

that is what we are at IPPITY :)

It has been a whirlwind of excitement since returning from CHA...
LOTS and LOTS of NEW IPPITY CHICKS,
the new Summer Collection was released and they are selling like hot cakes!

Have you seen some of the ippity inspiration on Splitcoast Stampers Site under "ippity"?

Here is some AMAZING Ippity eye candy for YOU!

By Ippity Chick Ginger Schwerin

Ginger said..."I made a super quick and easy thank you card using Bitty Pixie Paisley and Life is the Journey, both from the Summer Release. The Paisleys may become one of my favorite sets since it allows you to quickly make a card in just a few minutes. I also love how so many of the {ippity} sets can be used together. The sentiment from the Paisley set fits perfectly in the circle frame stamp from Life is a Journey!"

AWESOME JOB GINGER!!!

and...

this ADORABLE card was made by Stacy Sheldon

Here is how she did it:

 (Ippity "Authentic Man" set)

"They are stamped with memento on Neenah, car's colored with copics and gelly roll stardust pen. The mini screw brads are from Karen foster.
The brushed silver was diamond plate embossed, the stripe printed paper is My Minds Eye.
The cardbase is bazzill. It's 5X7 in real life."

T{ippity} Tuesday!

It's time for another T{ippity} Tuesday post and I'm happy to say I thought of something great to share with you all today. It's one of those tricks that I use all the time and I remembered how brilliant I thought it was when I first heard it. It's something I learned from Lauren Meader years ago. If you ever get lost trying to find the perfect placement for a sentiment, try this.
Have a piece of scrap acetate on hand (your stamp-a-majig clear sheet also works great for this). I keep mine in the side drawer of my desk, so I can pull it out quickly when I need it. I stamp the sentiment I want to use on the acetate and because it is clear I can see through it and move it around my card front to find the perfect place for my sentiment. Sometimes I find the sentiment I want to use just isn't the right size, so I need to find something else that will work. The acetate makes this process easy, without messing up your finished card. After you see where you like the sentiment, ink your stamp again and stamp it on your card.
Hope you are having a great week! We are working on changing up this Tuesday blog post. Stay tuned for some new and exciting stuff!
Many Hugs!
